Instead of doodles in class, I drew floor plans. I checked out Julia Morgan’s biography from the elementary school library and was so taken by her body of work that I asked my parents for gridded paper and never looked back.

Forged in the Garage
I am the granddaughter of an explosive blaster and road-builder, daughter to a precision machinist and sister to some kind of automotive genius. Passion for an excellent build has always run in my family.
Over the weekends, I made sculptures from found metal in our shop while observing the imagination and collaboration it took for them to troubleshoot solutions in critical moments; it’s what drives the team member I am today.
