PERIPHERY

Creating From sewing pillow covers and building custom furniture for myself, to baking sweets and logging new color combos spotted during bird watching, I do take making frivolous things seriously.

Collecting  Ceramics, turn of the 19th century textiles, furniture with naturals materials and odd details; wood and wicker based objets de art.

Rabbit Holes Whether it is looking up the permitting history of a building to see what we are working with, immersing myself in the historical importance of the folk art movement, cruising through the last 6 seasons of Simone Rocha to find that one paper doll dress or looking at every piece on Jessie Makinson’s ig, let’s just say that I love learning and my algorithms are tuned to perfection.

In Situ Detective  I have a game for myself of finding an odd built condition and trying to identify the type of constraints people were under that led to such a wonky resolution. This means that I stare at random things every now and then.
